What you can do

Vaccinations in WhiskerDairy

  1. Date given and next due date

    Record the vaccine name, the date it was administered and, when you know it, the next due date. Add notes such as the clinic or follow-up details.

  2. Overdue and due-soon flags

    The health summary groups care into overdue, due today and due within seven days, across all of your pets, so a booster does not slip past.

  3. Vaccine card photo

    On the web app you can attach a photo of the vaccine card, and WhiskerDairy can read text from the image to help fill in the record. Check the result against the card before you save.

  4. Email reminders

    Vaccinations that are due today or tomorrow trigger a reminder email to the account owner.

How it works

Three quick steps

  1. Add your pet

    Create a profile with the name, breed and birth date you know.

  2. Add a vaccination

    Enter the vaccine, the date given and the next due date.

  3. Check the summary

    Open the dashboard to see what is overdue or coming up.

WhiskerDairy records the dates you enter. It does not tell you which vaccines your pet needs or when; your vet decides that.

Good to know

Does WhiskerDairy tell me which vaccines my pet needs?

No. WhiskerDairy is a record keeper and reminder tool. Follow your vet's advice for which vaccines to give and when, then record the dates here.

Can I scan a vaccine card?

On the web app you can attach a photo of the card and have text read from it. Reading is automatic and can make mistakes, so check each field before saving.

How will I know a vaccination is due?

Overdue and upcoming vaccinations appear in the health summary on your dashboard, and a reminder email is sent when one is due today or tomorrow.
